Evenflo Revolve360 Model Comparison: Slim vs. Extend vs. Core

Differences Between Revolve360 Slim, Extend & Core Models

UPDATED: May 2026

There are now THREE different models of the popular Evenflo Revolve360 Rotating Carseat, and each model has various "trim levels" that offer different features at different prices. They all rotate 360° but trying to sort out which version has which features can be confusing, and AI-generated summaries never get it right. Since we have considerable real-life experience with each Revolve360 model, we're going to break it all down for you.

If you're looking for a comparison of all rotating car seats currently available in the U.S., including the Evenflo REO, we've got you covered. Check out our comprehensive 2026 Rotating Car Seats Comparison.

As I've already mentioned, all of the Revolve360 models have the ability to rotate both when rear-facing and forward-facing, unlike some other rotating car seats that only swivel when used rear-facing.

Evenflo Revolve360 Extend Trim Levels

Core Model

This core model is based on the OG Revolve360 model and is very similar to the Extend model but with lower rear-facing weight and height limits. This core model has a maximum rear-facing weight limit of 40 lbs. and a maximum rear-facing height limit of 40". By comparison, the Revolve360 Extend & Slim models are both rated up to 50 lbs. & 48" rear-facing.

This base model is only available in a black/gray fashion called Amherst. It has hook-style LATCH connectors and lacks the SensorSafe technology and quick clean covers found on some other Revolve360 models.

MSRP on this base model is $349 at Walmart, which makes it a good value for a rotating 3-in-1 car seat as long as you don’t need or want the higher rear-facing weight and height limits offered on the Extend and Slim models.

Extend Model with Quick Clean Cover

The Revolve360 Extend with Quick Clean cover and L.I.F.E. Guard side-impact protection comes in 3 fashions: Revere (Black/Gray), Rockland (Green/Gray) & Rowe (Pink/Gray). MSRP $469.99

This upgraded model features a cover with zippers that allows you to remove the cover in pieces, making it easier to strip and clean. It also features an optional seat protector insert. Trust me when I tell you that the first time your adorable tiny human covers the car seat with vomit or a diaper blowout, you'll consider this additional expense money well spent.

The optional seat protector insert included with the Revolve360 Extend Quick Clean cover provides an extra layer of protection against spills. Note: the seat protector insert is separate from the infant head and body cushion inserts, which are only allowed to be used rear-facing (and are typically only useful for small babies).

Rear-Facing:

  • 4-50 lbs.

  • 17-48"

Forward-Facing:

  • 30-65 lbs.

  • Up to 49"

  • At least 2 years old

Booster:

  • 40-120 lbs.

  • 44-57"

  • At least 4 years old

Features:

  • Includes Quick Start guide

  • Zip-on legrest padding that can be removed or reversed as needed

  • Optional seat protector insert provides an extra layer of protection against spills

  • Quick Clean Cover - easy to remove, easy to wash 🙌

Extend Model with SensorSafe

This Extend model adds a white chest clip with SensorSafe technology but lacks the Quick Clean cover. MSRP $499.99

The Extend with SensorSafe is currently only available in Onyx Black

If you're not already familiar with SensorSafe - it's smart technology integrated into the chest clip. When the chest clip is buckled (presumably because a child is in the seat), it can send alerts to your phone via an app. Alerts will be triggered if the chest clip becomes unbuckled, if the temperature inside the vehicle is too hot or too cold, if the child is left unattended in the vehicle, or if the child has been seated for too long.

Extend Model with "Green & Gentle" Fashions

This is the deluxe Revolve360 Extend model, featuring SensorSafe technology and Evenflo's Green & Gentle fabric, which is free of flame-retardant chemicals. The fabric is soft and lovely. This model is available in five FR-free fashions: Travertine, Flint, Quartz, Agate & Emerald.

Limited Edition Revolve360 Extend

If you love the Green & Gentle Revolve360 Extend but want something a little more luxe, the Limited Edition Champagne fashion is just the ticket. This FR-free fashion has a soft, brushed feel, with leatherette trim, and gold details.

Evenflo Revolve360 Slim Trim Levels

This is the ultra-narrow Revolve, which is only 16.7” wide! This model does not offer a booster mode. It is just a convertible; rear-facing & forward-facing with a 5-point harness.

Base Model Revolve360 Slim

MSRP $399

  • Rear-facing: 4-50 lbs., 17-48"

  • Forward-facing: 30-65 lbs., 28-49" tall, at least 2 years old

  • Ultra-narrow at 16.7" wide

  • Basic hook-style LATCH connectors

  • Lacks the Quick Clean cover

  • Includes Quick Start guide

  • Fashions: Canton Black, Carver Blue & Cambridge Gray

Slim Model with Quick Clean Cover

MSRP $419

This upgraded model features a cover with zippers that remove the cover in pieces, making it easier to strip and clean. It also features an optional seat protector insert. Trust me when I tell you that the first time your adorable tiny human covers the car seat with vomit or a diaper blowout, you'll consider this nominal additional expense the best $20 you've ever spent.

The optional seat protector insert included with the Revolve360 Slim Quick Clean cover provides an extra layer of protection against spills but it has limitations. On pg 50 of the instruction manual, it states that this insert may be used rear-facing up to 50 lbs., but only allowed in the forward-facing position up to 40 lbs. Note: the seat protector insert is separate from the infant head and body cushion inserts, which are only allowed to be used rear-facing (and are typically only useful for small babies).

Slim with Quick Clean Cover fashions: Sutton Purple, Stow BlueSalem Black

Slim Model with SensorSafe

MSRP $449

This model features SensorSafe technology and push-on LATCH connectors, but lacks the quick clean cover and is currently only available in one fashion, Obsidian.

If you're not already familiar with SensorSafe - it's smart technology integrated into the chest clip. When the chest clip is buckled (presumably because a child is in the seat), it can send alerts to your phone via an app. Alerts will be triggered if the chest clip becomes unbuckled, if the temperature inside the vehicle is too hot or too cold, if the child is left unattended in the vehicle, or if the child has been seated for too long

Slim Model with "Green & Gentle” Fashions

MSRP $479

Last but not least, the top-of-the-line "Green & Gentle" Revolve Slim, made with fabric that is free of flame-retardant chemicals and featuring SensorSafe technology. There are several gorgeous FR-free Green & Gentle fashions for the Slim model: Flint, Quartz, Agate & Travertine.
