Safety 1st Grow and Go Sprint Headrest Foam Recall

Safety 1st (Dorel) is recalling Grow and Go Sprint All-in-One carseats because children can get under the headrest cover to break apart pieces of the foam and possibly eat it, which can be a choking hazard.

Affected dates: February 28, 2023 through December 31, 2023 

Affected models:

Model Number (found on side of car seat near rear-facing belt path)

CC321-GYU and CC321-YUD

CC321-GYY and CC321-GYYD

CC321-HAO

CC321-HAR

Remedy/Fix:

Safety 1st will send a recall kit to registered owners by mail around the middle of June 2025, which will include a replacement headrest pad assembly kit.

What to Do in the Meantime:

Your carseat is safe to continue to use until the recall kit arrives. Keep an eye out for any missing pieces of foam.
